Herr, Anna Landis
October 5, 1877 - February 23, 1951
Mrs. Anna Landis Herr, seventy-three, Old Orchard Farm, Lancaster R6, widow of Frank E. Herr, died at 2:30 a. m. yesterday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred C. James, 222 Mechanic St., New Hope, where she was visiting. Death followed a short illness.
She was born in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Amos M. and Elizabeth Herr Landis and was a life-long resident of Lancaster County. She was a member of the Mennonite Church.
Two daughters, Rhoda H., wife of Sheldon S. Milliken, Pasadena, Cal., and Betty A., wife of A. C. James, New Hope; three sisters and one brother, Mary H., wife of Charles H. Mumma, Strasburg; David M. Landis and Miss Elizabeth Landis, both of Lancaster, and Esther, wife of Daniel C. Frost, Lancaster R6, and three grandchildren also survive.
